Not the winning bike, but its twin sister…. John McGuinness’ bike turned off after a jump. A safety switch was accidentally turned on when landing…. Bruce Anstey from New-Zealand won with the second Mugen Honda.
Unfortunately the Saroléa bikes didn’t make the start. An electronic problem convinced the team to cancel their participation for the safety of their pilots.
